Hello! I'm Aestari. I've always loved to make art - I learned from my mother when I was young, and taught myself after that. In addition to seven years of serious drawing and painting, I have a minor in Studio and Digital Arts from an accredited university. While my specialties are pencil and chalk pastel (with all manner of subjects, including primarily person and pet portraits as well as character/book illustration, among others), I have experience in several mediums both traditional and digital (acrylics, watercolor, gouache, charcoal, and others). I received awards in two consecutive years in local art shows (not to brag or anything :) ). I've also successfully sold commissions in person prior to joining DeviantArt, and hope to continue doing so.
In short, I love making art, and I would truly enjoy the opportunity to create a unique and memorable work for you.
